In early December 2021, Teach Solais were away again! This time to Rome for the Art Sport Hybrid Workshop Training event.
20 youth educators and cultural operators from Romania, Italy, Belgium, Germany and Ireland have gathered to exchange knowledge and experiences and design and deliver community projects that will address issues that can obstruct social inclusion and cultural consumption. Our goal is to co-design art-sport hybrid community projects that will be implemented at local levels. We look forward to bringing this project's results home to Ballyjamesduff!

By day five, the final day of the training, five organisations from Romania, Italy, Belgium, Germany, and Ireland had collaborated to design five community projects that will promote accessibility to culture, arts and sports for young people in each of our communities.
Together, we assessed risks, threats, and strengths and discovered new advantages and support systems. This workshop was hugely beneficial.
