We are excited to share some wonderful moments from our recent Erasmus+ mobility held in May in Kalamata, Greece! Participants from Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Poland, Portugal, and Romania came together for an impactful training session focused on empowering youth workers and inspiring positive change within our communities.
Project Overview: "Empowering Youth for Sustainable Futures" is designed to empower youth workers and inspire positive change within communities. This training is built upon the foundational pillars of climate action, Social Solidarity Economy (SSE), cooperativeness, and youth empowerment.
The objectives include:
Youth Empowerment: Providing youth workers, educators, and leaders with experiential learning opportunities, valuable resources, and innovative educational tools.
Climate Change Awareness/Community-Led Climate Action: Raising awareness about the urgency of climate action and environmental sustainability and nurturing strong communities that take collective action.
Promoting Social Solidarity Economy (SSE): Introducing SSE principles and practices to youth workers, encouraging incorporation into their work and inspiring young people to explore SSE initiatives.
Cooperation and Teamwork: Promoting cooperation and democratic group work among youth workers, facilitating group dynamics that emphasize respect, equality, and effective collaboration.
Digital Transformation: Enabling the digital transformation of educational tools, allowing youth workers to harness technology for better outreach and engagement.
