A free workshop organised by Teach Solais and delivered by Bloom the Art Project invited residents of Ballyjamesduff to connect through creativity. It took place on September 1st, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, on the grounds of the Old Courthouse on Stradone St, Ballyjamesduff.
A community mural was then designed through the workshop and later painted by Bloom the Art Project with help welcomed from attendees and community members. The project aimed to promote a sense of community and pride by offering a unique opportunity for residents to collaborate and create a concept authentic to the Ballyjamesduff community!
This project was brought to you gladly by Creative Ireland, Cavan County Council, Cavan Arts, Cavan County Council Library Services, and Teach Solais Community Development.

It was beautiful to see the community come together in this way. Bloom the Art project did an excellent job with the final design. Pictured below is the process.
Teach Solais were over the moon to present the completed mural. We were full of joy and pride to see the design in our community, and we were confident that the community would too!
